Ben (my Godson) and Gemma chose the stunning Herstmoceux Castle down in Kent to share their special day with their family and friends. What a setting for a wedding. Gemma chose a Cadbury purple to accent her wedding and it looked so pretty from all the table decorations through to the inside of Ben’s wedding band. Erica, Ben’s mum and my long time friend did all the flowers and they looked magnificent throughout the castle. The cake was made by Gemma’s mum Clare and I gifted their wedding photography to them so it was a complete family affair. We were also very lucky with the weather and they held the ceremony outside under the wisteria arches. So romantic!

Ben chose a wedding band like nothing I’d ever seen before, it was gorgeous, the inside was an enamelled purple…it was simply stunning! Make up was done by my daughter Hannah who was asked if she would do the make up after they had seen her skills at her sister in laws wedding. Gemma and the bridesmaids wore personalised Converse also matching in with the purple theme! Everyone had the most wonderful day, smiles were plenty and a few happy tears were shed too…what a stunning day!!

Huge thank you to Nicki Thurgar Photography who helped with second shooting on the day…always good fun to work with my bestie!
