I was asked by Nicki Thurgar Photography if I could join her at Elms Barn to second shoot for her. Of course I jumped at the chance as it’s a gorgeous venue and it’s right on my doorstep. Even on the dullest of days there’s still some lovely spots for some gorgeous photo opportunities.
We started the day with Verity and her girls, getting ready in the main house, Sarah Patterson (my bride from a few years back) was the MUA and a bridesmaid too, no pressure Sarah, Verity is only one of your long time friends and it’s only her wedding day right? Haha…
I then left the girls to go shoot the men and the guests arriving, we had a bit of fun with the buttonholes…then I took pity on them and put them right, we couldn’t have wonky buttonholes now could we? Once the guests started arriving the day just started to whizz by and before we knew it Verity and her beautiful bridesmaids were ready to walk down the aisle.
The bridesmaids wore a subtle shade of lemon to match their bouquets of spring flowers, and there were daffodils throughout the venue, It was all so pretty!!
After the I Do’s were done the confetti was thrown, one of my favourite parts of the day, and I wasn’t disappointed, soooo much confetti in pretty shades of lemon, yellow and white, very fresh and spring like!!
Sadly…my part of the day was done, time to let them enjoy the rest of their day, which had gone by in the blink of an eye.

I’d like to wish Verity and Val all the love in the world for their future together as Mr & Mrs!!
